Description of Hydrophilic PTFE Membrane Filters
With its filter media as hydrophilic PTFE, hydrophilic membrane filter can help users reduce costs by eliminating the need for expensive pre-wetting in applications that require the superior temperature, chemical resistance, and low extractors of PTFE membrane. 0.22 μm hydrophilic PTFE membrane filter bubble points are above or equal 0.1MPa and 0.06MPa respectively, diameters ranging from 13mm, 25mm, 47mm to 90mm, 142mm, 293mm.
Hydrophilic PTFE membrane pore size is 0.22μm, 0.45μm and chemical compatibilities are superior to aqueous, organic solvents and mixed solvents. Hydrophilic PTFE membrane is the strongest membrane filter for strong acid, alcohol, and so on. PTFE membrane hydrophilic are usually used with water and aqueous solutions. Used for liquid filtration to achieve sterility, wide chemical applicability, strong acid, and alkali resistance, high ozone strength. PTFE membrane hydrophilic can also be used with compatible non-aqueous fluids. Vacuum membrane filter 0.45 μm is usually not used for air, gas, or exhaust filtration because if they get wet accidentally, for example through condensation, the filter will block the flow.
The hydrophobic PTFE membrane filter disc is modified to obtain a hydrophilic PTFE membrane, which can be suitable for filtering aqueous solutions and organic solutions, and has better chemical resistance.
